Our Story Starts With Family & A Jobsite
Daniel Lichty’s journey into construction began early, alongside his father, Dan, who built custom homes near Cedarville, Ohio. From childhood summers spent pouring concrete and learning to frame, to managing full projects as a teenager, Daniel grew up on job sites, soaking in both the trade and the work ethic that defines it.
After moving to Newnan, Georgia, at 18, Daniel worked as a superintendent for Lichty Brothers Construction, a company founded by his father and uncle, Galen. He was handed responsibility early, encouraged to figure things out, and taught that showing up, thinking ahead, and doing it right the first time are non-negotiables.
In 2010, Daniel founded Lichty Building Group, expanding into custom homes and launching his own remodeling and commercial construction arm. While the business has grown, the heart of it hasn’t changed. He still believes in honest work, good people, and building things that last.
Today, Daniel runs the company with the same care he learned from his family, supported by a team of long-time employees who feel like family, too. His wife, Megan Lichty, leads Auld House Design and provides design services to clients across all types of projects.
When he’s not on a job site, Daniel enjoys working on their small family farm, where they raise horses, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and Flapjack, the beloved donkey!

Becky Boggs
OFFICE MANAGER
Becky has been with the Lichty team for over 20 years, starting as a part-time bookkeeper in 2002 and growing into her role as Office Manager through hands-on experience and mentorship. She’s the steady heartbeat of the office, keeping things running smoothly with a deep knowledge of the building world, even if she’s not out swinging a hammer. Outside of work, Becky loves spending time with her husband and sons, whether they’re hiking, playing music, or squeezing in a family game night.

Bill Owens
PROJECT MANAGER
Bill brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in all types of construction, making him a steady, trusted presence on every jobsite he manages. Known for his calm leadership and problem-solving skills, he keeps projects moving with clarity, care, and a deep well of industry know-how. When he's not on the clock, Bill’s probably out fishing, diving, or chasing his dream of one day living the laid-back island life full time.

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
With 40 years in drywall and over two decades of hands-on building experience, Carl brings unmatched precision and problem-solving to every project he oversees. He’s as skilled with a saw as he is in the kitchen, and when he’s not on site, you’ll likely find him woodworking, boating, or enjoying time at the lake. A competitive spirit at heart, Carl is also a state champion in both trap shooting and pistol IHMSA.

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
With 20 years of hands-on experience in framing, trim carpentry, and drywall, Joseph brings craftsmanship and care to every project he oversees. When he’s not on site, you’ll find him hiking trails or tossing a baseball with his kids. He’s got a tough exterior, but don’t let that fool you… A sad movie still gets him every time. His attention to detail and easygoing nature make him a favorite with both clients and crews.

Stacy brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience to his role as a project superintendent, managing job sites with confidence, precision, and a calm sense of leadership. When he’s not keeping projects on track, you’ll find him behind the grill or out on the water doing what he loves most, deep-sea fishing. He’s got a knack for timing, whether it’s coordinating a construction crew or pulling in the catch of the day.

PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
Paul brings decades of hands-on experience to the team with a steady hand and a great attitude. As a project superintendent, he keeps jobs running smoothly with a sharp eye for detail and a calm, can-do approach. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find him outside, hiking, cooking out, or spending time with family and friends. He’s also a big fan of football, baseball, and just about any kind of racing.

Talmadge Wilkerson serves as our Senior Estimator, bringing over 11 years of experience in the construction industry and a sharp eye for detail to every project he touches. For the past three years, he’s been a key part of the Lichty Building Group team, helping us plan, price, and execute with precision. Outside of work, Talmadge enjoys fishing, hitting the gym, and spending quality time coaching youth baseball and football with his wife and two boys by his side.

Sam Anderson is our estimator with over 11 years of experience and a sharp eye for details that make a project run smoothly from the start. He originally went to college for finance but found his true passion in construction, and he hasn’t looked back since. When he’s not calculating takeoffs or diving into project specs, you’ll most likely find him out on the water with a fishing rod in hand.

Outside the office, he’s passionate about automotive sports and can often be found under the hood or behind the wheel. He’s also a longtime hobbyist singer who never misses a chance to lend his voice to a good tune.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Laura Beth keeps our office running smoothly with her organization, warmth, and welcoming spirit. Outside of work, she loves going to church, hosting dinner parties with beautifully styled tablescapes, and making fun videos for Instagram. A lifelong singer, she took voice lessons for eight years and now lends her voice to her church choir.
