The Rotlisberger Family

Newnan, GA Kitchen Remodel & Scullery Addition

We had the pleasure of remodeling the Rotlisberger kitchen and adding a small but mighty scullery, a working butler’s pantry designed to support their growing cookie-baking business. Starting fresh, we gutted the existing kitchen and reworked the layout to create a space that flows naturally and works hard for their needs.

One of the clever highlights is a hidden cabinet door that leads into the new pantry, tucked discreetly behind custom cabinetry. To make this happen, we built a brand-new scullery addition and connected it to the existing kitchen by carefully cutting through the exterior wall, just enough to add a hidden door and create a seamless transition between the two spaces. We also removed part of the wall between the kitchen and family room to create a more open, inviting feel.

Inside, the kitchen shines with quartz countertops and a designer tile backsplash, paired beautifully with satin brass hardware and pendants that add a warm, stylish touch. The pantry keeps it simple and functional with classic subway tile, brushed nickel hardware, and stainless steel appliances built for serious baking. Wooden exposed shelves bring in just the right amount of charm and practicality to display and store essentials.

This remodel blends smart design with thoughtful details, giving the Rotlisbergers a kitchen and pantry that truly work together, perfect for baking up sweet memories and everyday family moments.
