The Whitton Family

Newnan, GA Kitchen Renovation

The Whitton kitchen got a complete makeover that was equal parts smart and stylish. We removed the old cabinetry, walls, and flooring following the plan, but saved the cabinets and countertops to build a great outdoor kitchen later on. The bay window and deck doorway came down too, with one window recycled and another relocated to fit the new layout.

Because the floor drops into the living room, we had to get creative, lengthening the stairs made it possible to remove a wall and open up the space. We rebuilt the bay window and doorway, making sure everything met code and handled some necessary exterior repairs along the way.

The space was rewired and replumbed to code, with recessed cans, under-cabinet lighting, and pendant lights adding the right amount of glow. Site-finished hardwood floors bring warmth underfoot, while custom cabinetry paired with Silestone Quartz Eternal Calacatta Gold countertops brings clean elegance to the kitchen. Over in the pantry, Venetian marble tops and a classic subway tile backsplash keep things bright and functional.

Details like a stained wood hood, matte black hardware, a Blanco apron sink, and an MSI Kenzzi 8x8 Paloma tile backsplash give the space personality and charm.

This remodel turned the kitchen into a warm, welcoming heart of the home, built for everyday living and easy entertaining.
